9-year-old stumbles, triumphs on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ (Video)

Malaki PaulNine-year-old Malaki Paul knew that stage fright could overtake him on “Britain’s Got Talent,” but, after it did, he rallied to put on an unforgettable performance. The North London kid broke down during his first try at Beyoncé’s “Listen,” worrying the audience, judges and his mom, who quickly embraced him in a bear hug.

On his second try, shown above, he didn’t disappoint. One YouTube commenter said they “started crying and didn’t stop almost the whole way through,” while others speculated that Paul could take the show’s top prize.
