Sexy diva Eazzy’s popularity has shot up due to her last controversy in the ongoing Big Brother Africa StarGame, which saw the Ghanaian music icon absent from the final eviction stage. Eazzy’s decision to boycott her final diary session and eviction show has rather made her almost the most popular house mate aside Zainab.
The musician received huge condemnation across Africa last Sunday when she refused to participate in the eviction show because she couldn’t get a Brazilian weave that she had requested from Big Brother, and when she refused to come on stage for the final farewell and interviews during the eviction show. She apologized to Ghanaians for her behaviour and hoped that her fans would forgive her.
Nicknamed the “stubborn housemate”, Mildred Ashong aka Eazzy has used this platform to promote her music massively in South Africa. She has gotten great airplay of her songs in the Big Brother House, and is also receiving a lot of publicity and downloads for her monster hit ‘Wengeze’.
When asked what made her accept the Big Brother Africa StarGame entry, she answered,
“I have always wanted a platform across Africa to promote my music and that opportunity came at the right time. I am glad I took that opportunity and its paying off very well”.
Eazzy said that some people had suggested following up on her hair saga in the Big Brother Africa Stargame to launch her own hair range.
“I actually think it would be a perfect time to think of launching a hairdo. Not Brazilian hair though; more of a weave cap that you can put on when you are having a bad hair day like I did.”
