The sprawling mansion where Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries married last August has been shunned by brides ever since, as they fear it is cursed and their marriage will result in divorce.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star and the Brooklyn Nets player held an ostentatious wedding ceremony a year ago at the lavish home of Google CEO Eric Schmidt. Guests at the TV wedding included Eva Longoria, Lindsay Lohan and La La and Carmelo Anthony.

According to Radar Online, millionaire brides-to-be have turned down the chance to wed at the estate after seeing Kim’s over-the-top wedding on TV, and have branded it “tacky.” They also believe the venue is jinxed as Kim and Kris announced their divorce in October after just 72 days of marriage.

“Since Kim married Kris at Eric’s Montecito home, no one wants to get married there any more,” a source told the website.

“Before Kim, the home was often used in the Summer months as a place where the rich could hold their private weddings – but now couples are shunning the estate because they think the place is jinxed.”

“They saw that Kim’s marriage lasted just 72 days – and they just don’t want the same fate happening to them.”
