Dappy has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of affray following an altercation at a petrol station.
The incident took place in Guildford, Surrey, near his recording studio on 28 February, the Mirror reports. It is alleged that at 3.30am on the night in question, Tulisa Contostavlos’ cousin Dappy (Costadinos Contostavlos) and a 27-year-old friend approached two women and invited them to join them.
When they refused, it is alleged that one of the pair spat at the women. There were three men with the women, and an altercation began. Then six more men arrived in two vehicles. The three men are said to have been assaulted and suffered serious facial injuries. Dappy was arrested and bailed until May and his companion bailed until this month.
A Surrey police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating an incident which happened on the forecourt of the Shell garage in Woodbridge Road, Guildford, on Tuesday, February 28.
“Three men were assaulted and received serious facial injuries in the attack. A 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were both arrested on suspicion of affray.”
Dappy, who has two children – Gino and Milo – with his on/off girlfriend Kaye Vassell, has been enjoying solo success since N-Dubz took a break. His UK tour is due to start this September.
