Exclusive : University Lecturers To Go On Second Strike Over 10 months arrears!!

News have reached the staff of Omg!Ghana that the Lecturers of Public Universities across the Country have decided to go on a second strike beginning today 5th April, after some series of meetings. According to the Lecturers, although some Basic Salaries have been paid by the Government, the 10 months arrears have still not been paid to any Lecturer.

The University Teachers Association of Ghana, UTAG, insist that its members will only go back to the lecture halls when government settles arrears owed them. Government have until the end of this Easter break to prevent this chaos. There will be more from omgghana.com on this issue.
