Host of Hitz FM’s morning show, Louis Sakyiamah popularly called Lexis Bill has been confirmed as host of the 2012 edition of the Miss Tourism Ghana pageant.
The pageant which is in its fourth year, seeks to promote Ghanaian culture and values as well as emphasizing Ghana as an ultimate tourist destination.
According to the organizer of the Miss Tourism Ghana pageant, Mrs Delphine Brew-Hammond, Lexis Bill’s commitment to promoting Ghanaian Tourism and arts on his radio show coupled with his great sense of humour and professionalism in Emceeing shows, made him the best choice for the 4th edition of the 2012 Miss Tourism Ghana Pageant.
On Saturday, 22nd September, 2012, 10 beautiful, intelligent and eloquent ladies will battle for the ultimate crown and title of ‘Club Miss Tourism Ghana 2012’.
The chosen queen will represent Ghana at the Miss Tourism Queen International event. On the domestic front, she will work closely with the Ghana Tourism Authority, the Ministry of Tourism and other tourism promotion and development bodies in the country to push forward Ghana’s tourism development agenda.
Ms Priscilla Asare, the current Queen is expected to hand over her crown to a new Queen after completing a year of her job as a Tourism Ambassador and helping promote youth participation in the country’s tourism development drive.
Ms. Akua Sena Dansua, Minister of Tourism and H.E. Mrs. Pavelyn Musaka, Zimbabwean High Commissioner to Ghana are some of the dignitaries expected to grace the event which will be held at the National Theatre in Accra.
