THE BEST Coach of the Glo Premier League for last season, Maxwell Konadu insists he is not a magician. The former striker successfully guided a virtually newly formed Kotoko team to conquer Ghana in the just ended season.
Coach Konadu said his success at Kotoko was not aided by magic or any concealed special powers. According to the trainer, hard work and commitment to duty, aided him to lead Kotoko to their 21st league diadem.
He said God rewards hard work so he was not surprised that the Almighty blessed his good works by giving him the league title. The current deputy trainer of the Black Stars said the honour done him (Best Coach 2012) would not get into his head.
Coach Konadu stated that the award would rather spur him on to achieve greater heights in his coaching career. The former Kotoko player noted that he would take coaching in the country to newer heights having been crowned Ghana’s best coach.
