Italy legend Gattuso wants Yartey at FC Sion
Italy legend Gennaro Gattuso says Swiss side FC Sion need to sign Ghana winger Ishmael Addo as the final piece in their jigsaw. Gattuso, 34, joined FC Sion last month after being released by Serie A giants AC Milan. FC Sion have officially tabled a bid for the 22-year-old who has arrived in Lisbon to begin pre-season with Portuguese giants SL Benfica.
Sion new coach Sébastien Fournier coached FC Servette’s U21 side last season where Yartey was on loan from Benfica. Gattuso is happy with the club’s acquisitions but believes until Yartey will make their squad complete.
“To complete our team after Lafferty, I would love to see a player in the calibre of former Servette star Yartey” He told 20 Minutes Online.
A host of top flights European clubs have expressed interest in Yartey who has been priced at 1.5 million Euros.
