Jay-Z has set high standards for his daughter Blue Ivy later in life, saying he expects her to have good morals based on the better upbringing than he had.
The hip-hop mogul has revealed what life was like for a young Shawn Carter, who had to grow up with the tough life on the streets including fighting with his brother. However, Jigga says his seven-month-old daughter Blue won’t have half the troubles he had growing up.
“We would fight each other. My brother would beat me up,” Jigga explained to The New York Daily News.
“I was going to have to fight, I was going to have to go through some things, and they were preparing me.” “She doesn’t have to be tough. She has to love herself, she has to know who she is, she has to be respectful, and be a moral person.”
Blue is already showing signs of living the privileged lifestyle, having spent the last week on a yacht with Jay-Z and her mother Beyonce, and having already travelled via private jet and helicopters.
