The 31-year-old right-back has been without a club since leaving Leicester City by mutual consent in May where he made just seven appearances in his eight-month spell with the Foxes. His inactive club career is believed to have cost his place in the Ghana squad for the opening 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zambia.
His spell on the Black Stars’ sidelines is expected to be prolonged as long as he is without a club but he insists it won’t be too long before he signs for a club amidst several offers.
“Many on the table (in reference to interested clubs), I can’t mention them now,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com. I can’t say now when the decision of where I will be playing will come out.”
The former West Ham player who started playing in Europe in Israel has seen a gradual decline in his football career since leaving Fulham as a free agent in June 2011.
