Kimberly Elise and Omotola Ekeinde talk Ties That Bind (Video)
Some months ago, celebrated Nollywood actress, Omotola Ekeinde Jalade acted along with Hollywood star, Kimberly Elise in a movie, Ties That Bind. The movie has since its premiere in Ghana won several awards including at the just concluded Africa Movies Academy Awards (AMAA) held in Lagos.
In this video, Omotola and Kimberly talked about their characters to Herve Clemont of Celebville 360. Ties That Bind lies on the story of three women Adobea (Omotola Ekeinde Jalade), Buki (Ama K Abebrese) and Theresa (Kimberly Elise). The trio were bound together with same problem of losing a child.
In a destined meeting in a small village in Kroboland, the women journey together to redemption, love, life and forgiveness as they renovate a dilapidated clinic for the villagers.
The movie hits Nigeria cinemas on June 1 but with a special pre-release release on May 25, 2012. It would then be released onto Blu-Ray and DVD worldwide in November.
