The search for the perfect gentleman to be Ghana’s next youth ambassador is on.Harlem World Entertainment,Organizers of the show earlier this week issued a release and announced www.maleiconghana.com as the official website for this year’s event.CEO, Nana Mensah Further disclosed that in view of technological advancement,potential contestants could now download audition forms from the same website.
The Male Icons Ghana 2012 competition is set to take off with a grand auditioning at the X Lounge at Osu in Accra on July 28. The audition targets males between the ages of 18 and 29 who are self confident, eloquent and ready to work as a youth ambassador with the Johns Hopkins University BCS and the Ghana Health Service’s ‘Good Life-Live It Well’ campaign.
The 2012 edition will be the second after the contest was launched in Ghana last year. It aims at nurturing and grooming selected intelligent young men with the desire to excel in life. They are challenged and rewarded for their intelligence, innovation and smartness, as well as for their poise, grace and uniqueness. In the process, one young man ready to take on the world as a celebrity, young entrepreneur, youth ambassador and role model who will sell the culture and way of life of the Ghanaian people to the international community, will be selected.
The eventual winner, under the auspices of the organizers, will work as a youth ambassador with the Johns Hopkins University BCS and the Ghana Health Service’s ‘Good Life Live It Well’ campaign. The winner of Male Icon Ghana 2012 gets a free trip to South Africa, magazine spreads, TV interviews, meeting of dignitaries and gracing charitable events.
