Millitary Patrol Attacked In Nigeria-Islamist Group Suspected

A millitary patrol has been attacked in northeastern Nigerian city of Damaturu.Local reporters confirmed this from the Nigerian police on Sunday evening.The attack is suspected to be by Islamists and took place on Sunday.

Reports by AFP,Kano couldnt confirm any injuries or death but disclosed that it took place in the Bindigari area of the city.

The military patrol team came under gun attack by suspected Boko Haram gunmen and they responded with gunfire.i still don’t have details of casualties

Yobe state police commissioner Patrick Egbuniwe reported.

Boko Haram is yet to make claims of the attack but soldiers door-to-door search for the gunmen proved futile.
