Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has reiterated that he will make a quicker-than-expected recovery from the serious knee injury he suffered last month. The AC Milan enforcer is expected to be out for six months after rupturing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. He underwent surgery to correct the problem.
“I will return soon because my knee ligament wasn’t that damaged and every day I’m working with a lot of will and desire,” Muntari is quoted as saying on Tuttosport. Adriano Galliani was furious when he heard about my injury and how it happened. He was right to be furious. It’s another motive for me to return soon. That way Galliani will forget about it, and I’ll make him happy again. It has happened that I got injured during my vacation, but it won’t happen again. I’ll be out for 6 months? No, I will definitely return in 2012.”
