Before I say anything read this article as culled from uwillcgossip’s blog, A few days after a controversial prediction by the founder of the Synagogue Church of all Nations, Prophet TB Joshua, stating that the Nigerian movie industry would lose one of its members, movie director/producer Taiwo Bello has been reported dead.
The incident has thrown the industry into panic, with some claiming it is a fulfillment of the prophet’s prediction.
Unconfirmed reports claim the burgeoning director, who worked on Yoruba movies, died on Friday, April 13, 2012, after a brief illness.
Taiwo Bello collaborated with some of the big names in the Yoruba movie scene, including Funke Akindele, with whom he co-wrote the hit movie Jenifa, and worked with on his 2010 movie, Omije Mi.
Condolence messages are already being sent, including one from leading Yoruba actress, Fathia Balogun, which reads; ‘May the soul of Taiwo Bello rest in peace’ on micro blogging site twitter.
The late Taiwo was described as ‘a man of high integrity and humility’ by actress Allwell Ademola, a colleague in the Yoruba movie industry. His death comes incidentally a week after the death of Tanzanian actor, Steven ‘The Great’ Kanumba who died on April, 7 2012 after an altercation with his girlfriend, Elizabeth ‘Lulu’ Michaels, who has been charged to court.
So now? Is this what TB Joshua prophesied? Only God knows … Our condolences though.
