Tyler Perry’s film studio in Atlanta has been damaged by a fire that broke out last night. According to The International Media, it was a “massive fire” that caused one building to collapse partially.
Atlanta’s fire captain, Jolyon Bundridge, confirmed that no one was injured in the raging blaze and added they are still unsure of what caused it.
The Good Deeds director arrived at his state-of-the-art studio last night, which “sits on a 60 acre site and includes five sound stages, a five-acre pond, a chapel, a theater and a gymnasium,” but remained tight-lipped to awaiting photographers.
Perry has enjoyed commercial success with movie gems such as Why Did I Get Married and I Can Do Bad All By Myself. Let’s hope more of this movies keep coming despite this short blip.
