One Of Ghana’s Top Producers ‘Kaywa’ Going To Work For Akon’s Konvict Muzik? (Video Proof Inside)
It seems there are lot of recruiting going around now. The foreign music guru’s are recruiting Africa’s best to work for them. Don Jazzy was recently signed by Kanye West ‘GOOD Music’ as a producer. Sounds like a good thing. Anyway, I got this video on my BBM about Kaywa one of Ghana’s legendary producers who has been in the industry for a long time. Kaywa is versatile, he produces virtually everything, from Hi-Life, Hiplife, Azonto, Rap, Hip Hop and anything, you just name it. He revived Castro’s career by cooking a nice beat for him on the ‘African Girls’ song. He’s also the brain behind prominent producer ‘Killbeatz’. Kaywa has helped many producers like B’ Bryte, Garzy, Killbeatz become top producers. Now that is a role model.
The video is of Kaywa who was advertising his being in London for a short-while and wanted to work with some of the acts there. In the short advert, around 00:25, the host mentions that ‘Kaywa will be flying to USA soon to work with Konvict Muzik’, that is Akon’s record label who signed P-Square, Wizkid and Tuface Idibia not long ago.
