Rodney King Dead At 47

Rodney King, the man whose 1991 videotaped beating by Los Angeles police officers led to one of the most destructive race riots in America’s history after the acquittal of the four officers involved, has died.

He was found at the bottom of his swimming pool this morning. No foul play is suspected. He was 47 years old. May his soul rest in peace.
