Smouha wants $2m for Affum

Smouha vice president Isamil Faiyd is in a sweet dilemma . He has tons of offers for his star Ghanaian player Samuel Affum. Faiyed told SuperSport.com that the most serious one from is from Egyptian giant Al Ahly.

“If they really want his services they must pay 2 million dollars and then we will let him go” he said.

“Affum is a very important player on our the team and the head coach needs him for the next season but if Al Ahly pays the 2 million dollars we will give him up.Affum is under contract with the club till 2014 so he will not go without our agreement. He is an awesome attacker and I see him doing well with the Egyptian Red team” he added.

Sources told SuperSport.com that Al Ahly head coach Hossam Al Badri put three foreign players on his wish list and asked his board to sign at least one of them. They are Samuel Affum then the Ivoirian player Oussou Konan who plays for Misr Lel Makasa in Egypt, and the third one is Mahatma Otoo who plays for the Ghanaian team Hearts of Oak.

Al Ahly already has two of the three allowable foreign players on their squad namely Da Silva from Mauritania and Fabio Junior from Brazil.
