Looks like the Swedish soccer team is on the butt end of the old bad-example-for-kids debate — and not just because it lost its Euro 2012 opener to Ukraine. In a training session, backup goalkeeper Johan Wiland was caught with his pants down and being used for target practice after he lost a ball-control game with his teammates.
The Swedish anti-bullying organization Friends expressed outrage at the players for being “incredibly bad role models.” Huffed midfielder Pontus Wernbloom, “It’s not bullying if everyone wants to take part.” Sweden’s soccer fans might be less concerned about bullying and more worried that none of Wiland’s teammates hit the bull’s eye.
