Top European Clubs Battle Kotoko For Mpong

SOME TOP European clubs whose names are being kept away from the public are said to be hunting Medeama SC’s Richard Mpong. The fast improving player is incidentally Kotoko’s prime signing target for next season, DAILY GUIDE SPORTS gathered.

Ebenezer Aidoo, Communications Director, Medeama SC, confirmed Kotoko’s interest in the player on radio. He said Kotoko had officially written to Medeama SC for the release of Mpong, but no deal had been reached so far.

Aidoo disclosed also that Kotoko faced a stiff challenge from some top European clubs for the signature of Mpong. He said Medeama SC had received offers from some clubs abroad, some of which were prepared to sign Mpong if he passed medicals.

Aiddo said since the league was not over, Medeama SC had not decided about the future of Mpong who was their asset.
