Udinese Rule Out Agyemang-badu Sale

Udinese have ruled out selling their Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu who has been linked with several clubs.

Agyemang-Badu 2012 AFCONThis comes after the Italian side agreed to sell their two key players to rival Juventus. Kwadwo Asamoah and Mauricio Isla are on the verge of completing a deal to join the Ol Lady after excelling with the club last season. This has prompted fears that other players in the club could be sold to fund Udinese’s ambition to buy some more new players.

Agyemang-Badu, who is one of the talented players in the Udinese squad, is among players who have been linked with moves to PSG and Arsenal. But Udinese chief Gianpoalo Pozzo is of the opinion that the club had sold the requisite number of players for the season and would not be looking to sell any other players.

“We have the preliminary round of the Champions League coming up and wanted to maintain the same squad, but renewal is part of our work,” Pozzo said. We will do that with players who have the potential to be like those who left.”

This means that Udinese will be unwilling to sell their Ghanaian enforcer Agyemang-Badu who is expected to play a key role for the club next season.

I’m ready, I just think about working,” Agyemang-Badu said. “The secret is to train at 100%. The two years here helped me to learn the language of football and I am sure that will be fine. ” [...]
